I'm trained in traditional animation and I apply the classic artform's principles and philosophies in my modern work.
I mainly work in and I'm highly skilled at After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
I have 20 years of experience in the production, brand, and advertising industry creating animated videos, films, web series, documentaries, and TV commercials. On most projects I have worked directly with clients from concept to creation. I have worked in and collaborated with every aspect of film production, for both animated and live action. My main focuses are art directing, animation, creative writing, storyboard development, character and environmental design, and on set visual effects supervising and directing.
I am a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor degree in Film and Video. Along with my concentration of traditional animation, I also studied stop motion animation, alternative animation techniques, and film production. While at Columbia College, I had the opportunity to independently and collaboratively produce short animated and live action films. I also have an Associates degree in Graphic Design.
