TJ McKimmey

I have more than eight years experience in the production and advertising industry creating animated videos, films, and TV commercials. On most projects I have worked directly with clients from concept to creation. I have worked in every aspect of film production, for both animated and live action. My experience includes script writing, storyboard development, character and environmental design. I also have worked as a grip, camera operator, cinematographer, director, editor and producer.

I am a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Video. Along with my concentration of traditional animation, I also studied stop motion animation, alternative animation techniques and film production. While at Columbia College, I had the opportunity to independently and collaboratively produce short animated and live action films. I also have an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design.

I am very proficient in After Effect and Flash and familiar with Cinema 4D and the 3D animation process. I am highly skilled in Final Cut Pro, Premier Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
